An engagement ring is a diamond ring given to mark a commitment or proposal, and at Omara it comes in styles ranging from a classic solitaire to more elaborate designs with accent stones. Our collection includes natural and laboratory-grown diamonds, central stones from 0.50 to 3.00 ct, and a choice of 14K and 18K gold or platinum. Every ring features an IGI-certified diamond, so you can compare its characteristics before choosing.

Engagement Ring Styles to Suit Every Style

Choosing an engagement ring is not only about the size of the diamond — the overall design also determines how the ring looks and feels when worn. The right style depends on how much emphasis you want to place on the centre stone, how much sparkle you prefer and what kind of impression you want the ring to create.

  • Solitaire diamond rings are a natural choice for a clean, understated design: they feature one central diamond, allowing its shape, proportions and size to remain the main focus.
  • Accented rings combine the central diamond with smaller stones placed around it or along the band, creating a more decorative appearance while keeping the main diamond at the centre.
  • Three-stone diamond rings offer a different balance, with one central diamond accompanied by two smaller stones in a symmetrical arrangement.
  • For a more noticeable diamond effect, halo diamond rings surround the central stone with smaller diamonds, creating a fuller, more detailed appearance; in a hidden halo, the extra diamonds sit beneath the central stone, so the detail is mainly visible from the side.

Petite and minimalist designs create a light, understated impression, while vintage-inspired rings bring intricate shapes and engraved details that recall the character of earlier jewellery. For those who want their ring to make a statement, some designs bring together a greater number of diamonds for maximum sparkle.

Choose Your Diamond Cut

The shape of the central diamond is one of the most important decisions when choosing an engagement ring. Round, princess, oval, pear, radiant, emerald, heart, marquise, cushion and Asscher cuts offer different proportions and visual effects.

Round diamonds are a classic choice, while oval, pear, marquise and heart shapes offer more distinctive silhouettes. Princess, radiant and cushion cuts provide alternative ways to achieve a contemporary or traditional appearance, while emerald and Asscher cuts are known for their step-cut facets and more defined geometric look. Whether you prefer a familiar round diamond or a less conventional shape, the choice of cut helps determine the character of the ring.

Diamond Quality and IGI Certification

What makes one diamond different from another comes down to four characteristics that shape its appearance and value: carat weight, color, clarity and cut. Color is graded on a scale from colorless to visibly tinted, and our diamonds are typically graded F/G. Clarity indicates the presence of natural inclusions; ours are typically VVS/VS clarity, meaning any inclusions are difficult to see without magnification. Cut determines how effectively the diamond reflects and returns light. Together, these characteristics influence the diamond's appearance, brilliance and value. Every engagement ring in our collection is accompanied by an IGI certificate detailing these characteristics.
